Mark S. Peloquin, Esq.
SUMMARY: Mark S. Peloquin is the firm's founder and managing member. Mr. Peloquin brings twenty-one years of combined technical and legal experience to the practice of intellectual property law. Prior to founding the firm, he was an attorney at the intellectual property law firm of Blakely, Sokoloff, Taylor, & Zafman in both the Silicon Valley and Seattle offices where he worked on intellectual property law matters for high technology companies including, Intel, Inc., Apple Computer, Inc., Sony, Inc., Alien Technology, Inc., SnapTrack, Inc., Sand Craft, Inc., and independent inventors.
Mr. Peloquin has extensive technical experience as a research scientist at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Rhode Island. His technical experience spans the fields of signal processing, software development, acoustics, wave propagation in continuous media, radio frequency (RF) and optical systems, piezoelectric devices, microelectronics, transmission lines, mechanical, and medical products. His research has resulted in issued United States patents enabling him to understand the patent process from both the perspective of the inventor and the attorney. He has received royalties from his inventive activities at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for his research into medical devices.
Mr. Peloquin holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
